Work has been getting busier and busier so it's hard to even get a sketch done. It'll probably be worst next week.

I had a bouquet of flowers and chocolate waiting for me at work today though as an early birthday gift :3. Here it is - posing with "Hamburger", my nasty-ass mascot at work.

I found a stack of birthday cards I forgot to give to my friends who had birthdays in June/July. OOOOOPS.

This is a quick paint sketch on one of the envelopes. If you had a birthday the last 2 months, and if I ever loved you, then I'll be giving you a card soon!!!!!

A self-portrait has been long overdue. Plus it was all I could muster after work. Barely.

I think blond hair looks much better on me than my natural color. Too bad it's a pain in the ass to maintain once my roots grows out (and the truth is revealed!).

Been struggling with this one all day so took a break... by watching the first Harry Potter movie. My, those kids grow up so fast!

This week is going to be crazy since the school year is about to start. Still hoping to keep sketching daily.

I've been struggling with alot of the art/comics recently.

Like this one... I don't know... something about rubs me the wrong way. Here's hoping I get over this slump SOON.

I also been passing out on my living room floor the past few days too. I'm pretty sure that's not helping.

A few days ago, we went to eat at one of my favorite restaurant in NYC, Fatty Crab! Home of the most delicious Watermelon Pickle and Crispy Pork dish (which you can view here).

I need to start bringing my camera when I go out to eat so I can show how lovely the food is. Here is crap shots from my phone camera:

We ordered the fish special, which was some mega sea bass that looked creepy both before and after we ate it, and a Nasi Lemak. The watermelon pork dish was ordered as well - which we devoured too quickly to take a picture. Next time we must order it twice!

Comic-wise, I've been writing down ideas again. Very slowly. Looking forward to doing comics again!

Bonus: Here is my baby! My cheap poster paints! Good for doing rough paintings and not feeling bad afterwards.

My Windsor & Newton watercolor travel case is hiding there in the corner. Can you believe I had this for 18 years now and it still works great(and that make me incredibly old)?
