Sketch I did a few days ago. Been too busy cleaning and doing other things. Hopefully when things calm down in the next few days...

I also broke down and decided to get rid of a lot of my older artwork which I no longer care for. Thus comes my shredder:

I see this more as a purge - to move on to better things - and better work. :)

No art at the moment. Been busy with life. Like shredding old art work. Quite liberating.

But I just finished watching Hanna. Who'd have thought that a great action film will come from a director that's more known for his sentimental, period pieces?
(Though I really like his version of Pride & Prejudice...)

I watched this fight scene so many times already. This scene is actually longer in the film since it starts with Eric leaving the bus, going down to the subway. Such a long take:



The scene in this one is hypnotic, especially with the video-game-ish music:



The soundtrack to this movie is fucking awesome. Chemical Brothers!

THERE IS A SICKNESS IN ME. I need to stop going to sites like THIS and THIS.

I also had the most excellent dream last night that the second season of BBC's Sherlock was airing NOW. Imagine my disappointment when I woke up.

This trailer is the only thing that's keeping me going until 2012.

It's been a busy past few weeks. Lots of changes going on - hopefully for the good!

This is the only thing I managed to sketch all of last month. I also got the new Photoshop so still trying to figure it out.

I finally got to eat Asiadog's delicious hot dogs (ok, so one of the hot dogs on that pic is not mine :( ) and bulgogi burger. I haven't had a bulgogi burger since I was in Korea 7 years ago. My craving has been satisfied.

Took the day off from work today since I was under the weather.

The wedding I went to on Sunday was very lovely, which was out in Long Island, outdoors. Everybody was glamorous but me, of course (I tried really hard though). I also wore a winter coat because I swore the weather report said it was going to be cold. Better to be prepared though.

Going to make a huge update tomorrow! Woo!

BITCHES I'M (sorta) BACK.

Work for the last 2 weeks slaughtered me. It seems that things are slowing down so hopefully I'll start updating often. But not tomorrow -  as I'm going to a wedding of my one of oldest (we knew each other for more than 25 years?!?!) friend.

It has been horribly busy at work this week, due to Orientation. I clocked in over 10+ of overtime. Maybe 15+? Obviously I have not drawn since I started work this week. I hope this long weekend fixes that!

This pic here? It is a belated birthday gift from the most talented Ms. Robin Ha! I have the absolute honor of calling her my friend for almost 15 years. Thank you so much! Here's to another 15 years of friendship, art and COMICS!

Work has been getting busier and busier so it's hard to even get a sketch done. It'll probably be worst next week.

I had a bouquet of flowers and chocolate waiting for me at work today though as an early birthday gift :3. Here it is - posing with "Hamburger", my nasty-ass mascot at work.

The MoCCA Festival is coming up this weekend but I'm probably going to be wandering around for one of the days. Still been exhausted and busy from work and artist's block. I am excited to see more new comics though!

I should have updates tomorrow. Srsly!

Small Press Expo 2010!

Sorry: Been a bad few months. Plus very busy (work-wise) on my end. Hopefully once things calms down, I'll start drawing and etc. again.

 

I will be attending Small Press Expo again this year, along with the fabulous Robin Ha and the awesome Vanessa Satone. I may have stuff to give out also... if you can find me. I think they spelled my (middle) name wrong on the exhibitor's list - haha.

 

I'm also pretty exhausted from work so I'll be the one passed out around the hall.

 

Here's hoping to a better month! MORE COMICS!

(2010, pen, sharpies)

I haven't drawn in over a month so I'm a bit rusty. Been sick with a COLD in 90+ DEGREES WEATHER, then had some tummy problems... and work came along... and you know the rest.

Been struggling with artist/writer block so I've been keeping it easy this past few months. Watched a shitload of movies (20+) and been reading alot more. Anything to keep the mind and imagination active. I'll write more about it later.
