I suck in taking photos: my grade in photography class back in college can prove that.

(No) thanks to Robin, I have gotten hopelessly addicted to the Korean pop group 2NE1. Plus I love their style and fashion sense!

I LOVE IT! Thank you (again) Robin!

I've been reading a comic about a girl who wants to be a break dancer - and finds herself doing tango instead.

Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving!

Haha-- god, worse fan-art ever. I  just remember the bit in the book about him attacking with flour bags and cakes.

Went to Red Rooster for lunch today. I especially loved their spinach and sweet potato salad and fudge:

Time to exercise like a madman..... after Thanksgiving, that is.

Bleh - not really feeling this sketch. This hasn't been my week.

Thanksgiving is creeping up. Hope everybody has a good week full of turkeys!

KATNISSSSSSSsssssssssssss.... from The Hunger Games!

Super quick sketch - rushed so it looks kinda whack. I forgot to add in that pesky bow of hers so whited it out. It was suppose to be super shiny, right?!?!

Will attempt again at another time!

My greatest weakness.

Spent the day watching movies. Can't believe Monday is already creeping up?!?!

11/18/2011

Finished reading the Hunger Games trilogy today. I haven't been this excited over a series - comic and novel - in such a long time. If you haven't read it yet, please do! Especially the first book - it's like crack. So addicting. I find myself re-reading certain chapters in each of the books.

Obviously my favorite character is Peeta. Super, crappy quicky sketch. Must improve!

THIS SICKNESS IN ME CANNOT BE STOPPED. Help me dear God.

In other news, I'm going to watch Juliet Leigh's Sleeping Beauty at the Museum of the Moving Image. I'm sure it's going to be a load of FUN.

Another sketch. Been so busy with other things lately so even sketching's been hard to come by.

Watching Jurassic Park right now. I never watched this movie before until now.

Another quick sketch. I believe the photo was from an old Spin magazine. Woo!

Another sketch. I've been using photos and pics from magazines for references. I miss life drawing classes at times like this.

THERE IS A SICKNESS IN ME. I need to stop going to sites like THIS and THIS.

I also had the most excellent dream last night that the second season of BBC's Sherlock was airing NOW. Imagine my disappointment when I woke up.

This trailer is the only thing that's keeping me going until 2012.

It's been a busy past few weeks. Lots of changes going on - hopefully for the good!

This is the only thing I managed to sketch all of last month. I also got the new Photoshop so still trying to figure it out.

PSA: Mel’s Santa vs. Dracula Graphic Novel: Kickstarter Site!

Something to look forward to! My good friend Melissa DeJesus's new comic project! Please help support  it!

Mel is re-teaming with her My Cage collaborator, Ed Power to bring you their newest comic: "Santa vs. Dracula". Originally submitted as a web comic project, the feedback from it has been so great that they will like to make it into a graphic novel! Please go to their Kickstarter page to see how you can help make this happen! You can also view sample comic pages over there as well! Please help support this project - deadline is at Sunday, November 12th!
