Haha-- god, worse fan-art ever. I  just remember the bit in the book about him attacking with flour bags and cakes.

Went to Red Rooster for lunch today. I especially loved their spinach and sweet potato salad and fudge:

10/23/2011: Fat Edition 3

I finally got to eat Asiadog's delicious hot dogs (ok, so one of the hot dogs on that pic is not mine :( ) and bulgogi burger. I haven't had a bulgogi burger since I was in Korea 7 years ago. My craving has been satisfied.

For some reason, I can only imagine him as a pudgy kid when he was young. I don't think I pudged him up enough but GODDAMN THOSE CHEEKS. Good luck to Becky on the new Doom comic!

A few days ago, we went to eat at one of my favorite restaurant in NYC, Fatty Crab! Home of the most delicious Watermelon Pickle and Crispy Pork dish (which you can view here).

I need to start bringing my camera when I go out to eat so I can show how lovely the food is. Here is crap shots from my phone camera:

We ordered the fish special, which was some mega sea bass that looked creepy both before and after we ate it, and a Nasi Lemak. The watermelon pork dish was ordered as well - which we devoured too quickly to take a picture. Next time we must order it twice!

This lovely lunch was provided by the fig & olive restaurant in the Meatpacking district. My tummy deserved this!

07/15/2011: FAT Edition TWO

Things have started to pick up at work so I haven't been able to sit down to draw. I have been writing more so I suppose that's still productive?

I also been eating out again. Here are some beauties:

From Lillie's. One of my favorite restaurant at Union Square. Very hearty food. +5lbs!!

It is also Restaurant Week here in NYC! The best time to try out different places at reasonable prices. Here is the dinner I had with a friend over at Gravy, a restaurant serving up southern food:

Pictured is Chilled Corn Soup, Petit Filet Mignon, Black Garlic Braised Pork Butt, Pecan Pie and Mississippi Mud Pie. YUM. 20lbs+!!!

Also went back to Megu - for it's KOBE BEEF! The place is super expensive so the only time I can go is during Restaurant Week...

Crispy Asparagus, Premium Kobe Washugyu Sirloin Steak and Green Tea Crepe. 1000000lbs+.

I used my camera phone for these so the photo sucks. Will need to use a real camera when I go out to eat FOOD. Now, time to try to fit into my clothes...

I've been mostly going out to eat (mostly for work) so here are some of the grub I managed to digest:

Found a recipe for Korean Fried Chicken online a few months ago and have been experimenting with it. This was for a baby shower we had in the office today.

(COOKIES!)

I found this recipe at a livejournal group, 'bakebakebake' and I needed to bake it right away. It has Nutella, peanut butter, chocolate chips, oats - and smelled like heaven.

Mines didn't look pretty as the photos on the site - but it still tasted great. Must level-up my cooking skills some more.

I love kimchi. I think it's in my blood. The only dish I'm good at making is kimchijjige (or so sayeth my Korean friends). Today, I decided to use tuna and anchovy.

Sorry I haven't been able to update in awhile: alot on my plate these days.

Including my meal at Mr. Iron Chef's Morimoto last night. My friend took me there as a belated birthday/christmas gift. It was INCREDIBLE. We must have ate almost everything off their menu.

Haha-- I took a break. Mostly trying to fix my sleep schedule. The past week, I watched some films from the New York Film Festival. I'll write up my thoughts on them in the Estrigious site later. Eventually. All I can say is Mother (마더) from Bong Joon-ho was definitely not what I expected, especially after The Host. I loved it though.

Must DRAW again!!!!
