So I'm cheating here putting these old comic strips up - moreso since I plucked them from Mel's blog. But I just needed to do a shout-out to Mel and her hubby, Robert, on their ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
These comic strips were our wedding gifts for them. For more details, including strips from the rest of the gang, check out the entry here!
Elijah, an old character from an old comic idea I had from - oh - ten plus years ago. I thought it'd be fun to draw him again. With the shittiest hands ever. WOOO- MEEE!
Sketch I did a few years back of one of the brothers from a comic idea I had. It may be too old to go back to - but I liked the design/layout alot. We'll see...
Characters from a story I've been working on for.... 7 years now (I used one of them as a character for my final comic in SVA). Twin Korean-American brothers with whacked names. No "James" or "John" or "Peter" here.
Why do Korean parents like giving them kids the most mundane, typical names?!?! ARRFG!!!
Over the years I started on a lot of illustrations but never got around to finishing them until recently. It's hard to go back to an illustration that's a few years old, especially since my art is constantly evolving. But I do enjoy the satisfaction of finishing something.
This blog is an attempt to keep a daily sketchbook/comic. Good luck to MEEEEEE!!!
Though the drawing above is not recent - it pretty much summed up my life a year ago: Going to a Starbucks to draw and having some nutcase in the background, screaming all day.
